Use a flashlight to check the places around the master cylinder reservoir. If there's no brake fluid leaks around, then you can go on increasing the pressure to the specified pressure as required for your car. The low pressure leak test is an important but often neglected step because the brake fluid leaks with pressure will make the brake fluid spraying somewhere, and damage the car paint or even your body.
