But always check and refer to the automotive manufacturer's service manual for the correct procedure for your car. When you are disconnect the Shradrer valve cap or the fuel line, always make sure that you have a shop towel wrapped around the disconnection point in case some fuel escaped because the gasoline fuel can created fire just with a small spark. 

Next to the Shrader valve connector or adapter is connected on the fuel system, connect to the gauge provided. The gauge has a large visible area so it is very easy to read.
