Paint Masking Tape Dispenser for Folding a Soft Edge

Using a masking tape is essential when we are working on car body paintings, and there is this small trick called "soft edge" that can help your painting result to look like a pro instantly. After using the soft edge tape, the paint shown on the door panel, for example, will have this blur line and that blur line makes the painting look very natural, instead of a harsh line.

Before using the tape dispenser, make sure that your masking tape is 3/4" or 19mm. Cosda also produces another tape dispenser that fits 1 inch or 25mm masking tape. When you want to purchase from us, make sure that you include the information of the tape width to us. Slide the masking tape roll onto the dispenser, pull a section of the tape, and make a fold in that section. Make sure that you turn the sticky side up, and feed that section of the tape under the black tabs close to the dispenser outlet. Put the golden rolling pin back in the outlet channel. The rolling pin works as a tensioner so it folds the tape into a tape with a soft edge while you are pulling the masking tape. 

The dispenser seat has grooves so you can bolt it onto the wall with the bolts provided. The bolts are hidden in the cover. You can also try to attach the seat with magnets, which are not included in the set, so you can stick the tape dispenser wherever you go in your workshop, creating the mobility and flexibility of the tool. After pulling a section of the masking tape with a soft edge, apply it to the car body. Take door panel for example, you can apply the tape with soft edge on the swege line or the door side, and you will see the satisfactory result once you pull off the tape.
