Perfect for removing regular lug nuts as well as problematic lug nuts, including worn or damaged lug nuts, or even for removing locking wheel lug nuts with no keys, this tool set includes five sockets and a 1/2" extension that forms a bridge between the half inch drive in the middle of the socket and the ratchet wrench. The sockets come in five sizes: 17 mm, 19 mm, 13/16”, 21 mm, and 7/8” (22 mm). When you take a look inside the sockets, one side is the regular hex shape, and the other side shows the reverse twist grip shape that allows the socket to bite in when you turn counter clockwise to remove a problematic lug nut. If you have a rounded off lug nut, just slide the twist side of the socket in from the top. You can just a hammer to hit from the back of the socket for a more tight grip, and then just turn the socket as you are trying to removing the lug nut, and the socket will help you do the removal job just as removing a regular lug nut. The same concept also applies to a locking wheel lug nut if you have the key missing that you have absolutely no way to remove the locking nut. The twist side of the socket will bite in locking nut in the same way as previously mentioned, and removing the lug nut is no longer a problem. The only problem is that after removal the lug nut can no longer be reused anymore. This tool set is very versatile because you can use it no matter if the lug nut is fine or problematic just by flipping the socket to the right side and it does the job for you.
